Events Description

Discover aquatic insects, birds, leaves or even the habits of urban coyotes! Family Nature Nights (FNN) is a project designed by Nature Alberta’s Nature Kids, The Alberta Science Network and The City of Edmonton, Community Recreation Services (CRS). FNN are 2 hours long and include a formal or direct teaching experience about a nature topic, guided nature walk and a game, activity and/or craft to reinforce learning.

Registration for these events takes place from 6:00 pm – 6:25 pm and the events run from 6:30 pm – 8:30pm.

July 10 – Wet & Wild – Goldbar Park, 10955 50 Street NW, Edmonton
July 17 – Precious Pollinators – Red Willow Park Kingswood, St. Albert
July 24 – Beautiful Bugs – Jackie Parker Park, 4540 50 Street NW, Edmonton
July 31 – Way of the Woods – Whitemud Park, near the Equine Centre, Edmonton
August 7 – Indigenous Summer – Twin Brooks District and Nature Park, 897 Twin Brooks Close, Edmonton
