- Learn about the wonderful world of flowers and forests! Join us at Jackie Parker Park where you can find out about new research on forest health with the Northern Forestry Centre, learn about outdoor fun with Fearless in the Forest, and go on a guided tree planting with Root for Trees.
- Wednesday, July 30, 2025 – Registration from 6:00 PM – 6:25 PM | Activities from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM @ Alfred H. Savage Centre, Whitemud Park, 13909 Fox Dr NW, Edmonton
- The city of Edmonton is rich in wildlife! Come learn about our urban species with MacEwan University. Go on a bug catching expedition with the Entomological Society of Alberta. Take a guided nature walk with Edmonton Nature Club. There’s lots to explore!
- Wednesday, August 6, 2025 – Registration from 6:00 PM – 6:25 PM | Activities from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM @ Gold Bar Park, 10955 50 St NW, Edmonton
- Explore the past and present of Alberta’s rivers at Gold Bar Park! Take in a presentation by Alberta Fisheries, learn about local Ice Age fossil from palaeontologists of the Royal Alberta Museum, go on a guided nature walk with local experts, and best of all, touch a real live fish!
- Wednesday, August 13, 2025 – 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM | Activities 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM @ Willmore Park Campground, Range Rd 174, Edson
- Become an excellent nature detective with this event at Willmore Park! We’ll play nature-themed games, investigate owl pellets, and go on nature walks along the beautiful trails led by experts from Nature Alberta and MacEwan University!
- Wednesday, August 20, 2025 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM @ Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park Day Use Area, 400 Ray Gibbon Dr, St. Albert
- Join us for a summer celebration with our yearly festival-style event at Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park and Big Lake! Learn all about wetland water with Alberta Lake Management Society, and the bogs of northern Alberta with Wagner Natural Area. Check out the amphibian station hosted by Alberta Amphibian and Reptile Conservancy and examine the watershed model brought by the North Saskatchewan Watershed Alliance, and much more!
