Per the news release, this exhibition, which follows its successful presentations in Madrid and Vienna, features an extensive collection of iconic race cars, unique artifacts, and video materials from the history of Formula 1. For the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to experience driving an F1 car through advanced simulators equipped with official gaming gear.

Scheduled to open on May 3, 2024, at the Lighthouse ArtSpace Toronto, the exhibition will continue until early summer, offering an immersive exploration into the world of Formula 1.

Organisers say the exhibition will provide an engaging experience that brings them closer to the action of Formula 1 without being at a race track.

The exhibition is designed as a storytelling journey across six themed rooms, covering over 20,000 sq. ft., and features collaborations with renowned curators, artists, and filmmakers. Highlights include a look at the sport’s evolution, a deep dive into the design and manufacturing of F1 cars, tributes to legendary drivers and races, and a poignant exhibition on drivers who have lost their lives in the sport, including a detailed look at Romain Grosjean’s 2020 crash in Bahrain.

Tickets for the event will be available for pre-sale on March 26 and for general sale on March 28.
