Formula E Championship Race is Coming to Vancouver on Canada Day Weekend 2022

Formula E or the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is coming to Vancouver on Canada Day weekend as part of Season 8.

The provincial calendar for 2021/22 season was announced today with 16 races in 12 locations worldwide.

Formula E is an all-electric street racing series and the championship is scheduled for July 2, 2022 on the streets of Vancouver’s False Creek area utilizing a similar circuit used during Molson Indy Vancouver which was last held in 2004.

The entire event is planned as a three-day festival with qualifying races preceding the championship and entertainment events.
The first Formula E event in Canada was held in Montreal in July 2017.
