Calgary’s world-renowned equestrian facility is set to dazzle visitors with its enchanting annual Christmas display beginning December 6.

The 2024 Christmas Lights Display is a complimentary experience for the Calgary community.
Located at Founders Plaza, the event offers a blend of dazzling light installations, unique shopping opportunities, and festive food, creating a perfect holiday outing for families and friends.
Visitors have the option to either drive through the display or park in Lot 7 and walk along designated paths to enjoy the lights.
What to See and Do
Lighting Displays:
Guests will be welcomed by tree-lined lanes illuminated with thousands of twinkling lights leading to the cozy Founders Plaza. Centered around a giant Christmas tree, the area features festive fire pits and inviting food stalls, perfect for warming up in the crisp winter air. In addition to the Christmas tree, the display includes enchanting “Snow Globes” and intricate lighting installations, creating a magical ambiance throughout the grounds.
Food and Drink:
The Après Ski Café serves steaming hot drinks, including a festive Candy Cane Hot Chocolate, alongside desserts and other treats. For heartier fare, Avatara Pizza offers wood-fired pizzas and smoky turkey legs, adding a delicious aroma to the festive atmosphere.
Shopping:
The Silla Shop presents unique gifts and decor, including jewelry and lifestyle items, while Thistle & Clover showcases locally crafted Canadian goods with a mix of modern charm and nostalgic appeal. These stalls provide opportunities to support local vendors while finding one-of-a-kind treasures.
New for 2024, entry is now via Tournament Lane, with visitors able to choose between a drive-through or a walking experience, with parking available in Lot 7.
Spruce Meadows will remain closed for public access on all other days of the week.

What: Explore the magic by car or on foot and warm up by the firepits. Founders Plaza offers holiday shopping and tasty treats for purchase.
This year, the Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundation will host a 50/50 raffle, with proceeds benefiting Calgary and area food banks.
