Since 1912, the Calgary Stampede Parade has been the official kickoff to Calgary’s iconic summer festival.

Calgary Stampede
Tens of thousands line up the streets to experience the extravagant showcase of colourful floats, majestic horses and high-energy marching bands.
This year, the parade is on July 3rd.
Calgary Stampede Parade viewing is free, provided you can get there early and find a good spot. But if you do not want to rise with the sun, don your western attire, have breakfast, rush off to find a spot on the Calgary Stampede Parade route, and then get bleacher seat tickets.
Rotary Clubs in Calgary (Calgary Rotary West, Rotary Club of Calgary Centennial) sell tickets to reserve spots to watch the parade. The funds raised from these events help the clubs in their local charity projects.
The 31st St Cyprian’s Scout Group will also host a reserved seats fundraiser to support scouting adventures.
Calgary Rotary West organizes a fundraiser pancake breakfast on parade day. The tickets for breakfast include reserved bleacher seats and bottled water during the parade.
The Rotary Centennial’s bleacher seat tickets include coffee, juice, unlimited water, and a pastry.
