The 2021 Calgary Stampede returns! It will look different, but it will be a unique and memorable celebration as they bring back a mix of the iconic Stampede experiences that you know and love, including rodeo, evening shows, the Dog Bowl, Nashville North, the midway, and more!
This year’s Parade will travel through Stampede Park prior to the Park opening to the public on the morning of Friday, July 9.
CALGARY STAMPEDE RODEO: The calibre of a rodeo comes down to two things: the skill of the competitors and the quality of the horses, bulls and steers. The Stampede Rodeo features the world’s best competitors and animals.
Broncs After Dark and the Bell Grandstand Show: Cheer on talented athletes and teams as they compete in some of the greatest high-energy western competitions Stampede has to offer. As the sun sets, feel the beat of the music and take in the adrenaline-filled performances that lead to a spectacular fireworks finale in the night sky.
DOG BOWL: The Canine Athletes are an elite troupe of highly-trained pupper athletes who are paws-down the most lovable performers around. From agility poles and dock-diving, to frisbee and freestyle dancing, this action-packed show is sure to impress the whole family.
FREESTYLE MOTOCROSS: They’re very skilled, very brave and have tons of adrenaline. Watch these motocross athletes reach new heights as they showcase their skills and perform crazy tricks.
NASHVILLE NORTH: This incredible venue—for those over 18—has hosted acts like Johnny Reid, Eric Church, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and so many more.
Stampede Summer Stage : Join us at the Stampede Summer Stage to enjoy the ultimate outdoor live music experience of the summer. From rock, to hip hop, to pop and EDM, this multi-genre lineup is set!
Midway Food: All the tasty treats you know and love are back. From the classics, to sweets, trendy and daring – it’s time to prepare yourself for a fun foodie adventure.
Elbow River Camp: You are invited to experience cultures of the Siksika, Piikani, Kainai, Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda First Nations in Elbow River Camp, presented by Enbridge. Here you will find 26 tipis to visit, local artisans selling jewelry and art, bannock and saskatoonberry jam, traditional dancing and much more.
Midway: There’s enough white-knuckled exhilaration on the Midway to satisfy any adrenaline aficionado—even specially sized kids’ rides in The Great FUNtier!
