Both Edmonton and Calgary’s oldest neighbourhoods contain eerie stories of hauntings and the unexplained just waiting to freak you out; you can also tour the creepier side of Drumheller, Banff, and Stony Plain.

The old buildings of the U of A provide a spooky backdrop for tales of the University’s history and early beginnings. The History & Haunted Hike will guide you past these buildings, like the Rutherford House and the power plant, as you hear about the ghosts who inhabit them. Heritage Park Ghost Tours
Heritage Park in Calgary is hosting Ghost Tours through their park this October 14th. You’ll get a mix of Halloween fun and fights, with a bit of history through the event. The old and restored buildings of the Park contain some frightful tales. If you can’t make this date, the park also hosts a Ghouls Night Out on Halloween weekend.

Banff Ghost Walk
The Banff Springs Hotel draws a lot of attention for its famous ghosts, but there are others around the townsite, too. The Banff Ghost Walk is a 3km tour through town on which you will hear about all the other spirits who haunt stores, other hotels, restaurants, and homes.

Ghost Hunt Alberta
Ghost Hunt Alberta conducts public paranormal investigation events at various Southern Alberta locations including East Coulee Museum, and The Rose and Crown in Calgary. They also hold pub crawls and paranormal pub nights in Inglewood. Kensington and Downtown Calgary.
