The Great Canadian Baking Show is now casting for season 7 of the show.
The Great Canadian Baking Show is a reality TV competition series, which invites amateur bakers from across Canada to bake in the famous white tent. Bakers face various challenges, from signature bakes to technical challenges and showstopper creations, aiming to impress the judges — Bruno Feldeisen and Kyla Kennaley — and avoid elimination.
This year both online and in-person audions will be available.
To apply online, visit the show’s website and fill out the online application form, which includes questions about your baking experience, your favourite recipes, and your personal story. You’ll also need to submit a video of yourself explaining why you should be chosen for the show, as well as photos of your best-baked creations. Applications close March 12, 2023.
Filming is set to take place in late spring or early summer 2023 in Toronto.
If you want an easier process, then head to in-person auditions. The show will be hosting open call in Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal and Halifax.
Auditions will be held in Halifax on Monday February 27, Montreal on Tuesday, February 28, Edmonton on Wednesday, March 1 and Winnipeg on March 3.
All you need to do is bring a signature baked item to the event, and you could be selected to compete in the tent this summer, while also getting the chance to meet other talented bakers and the show’s expert team.
The open call events will also offer you a chance to connect with local Great Canadian Baking Show alumni, network with fellow bakers, and get a taste of the exciting world of professional baking.
