The Whistling Gardens‘ popular Festival of Fountains is returning for the fourth year.
Head over to the garden to experience an enchanting night with magical fountains and gardens that dance to music starting August 26.
Whistling Gardens in Norfolk County features a musical fountain amphitheatre with over 100 water jets, inspired by the Palace of Versailles, and granite walls and outer wings that span 400 feet. Three 90-foot staircases meet behind the stage. It is here that the dancing musical fountain festival will be held.
This visual experience uses interpretive storytelling to bring this stunning garden and its fountains to life. The immersive experience includes a show of water, lights, smoke machines and special effects to create something captivating. There are more than 100 fountains that dance to unique musical compositions that were specially made for the Festival of Fountains.
Debuted when the garden celebrated its 10th anniversary, the entire event took four years to plan. With this show, the Whistling Gardens was the first to introduce this incredible international custom technology in Ontario.
When you enter the garden, you will be greeted by a beautiful 120-year-old cottonwood tree. This tree, like the rest of the garden, is brought to life with computerized lighting and music. The cottonwood tree will even greet you when you leave!

During the festival, you will learn how they expanded from a cornfield to this amazing, multi-award-winning botanical garden. You will also learn about the garden’s contribution to Canadian horticulture.
The festival will take place on select nights in August.
The festival is described as a ‘magical theatrical experience’, so don’t miss out on this entertaining evening.
