The Whistling Gardens‘ popular Festival of Fountains returns for its fifth year.

Whistling Gardens

Head to the garden for an enchanting night of magical fountains and gardens that dance to music, starting August 28.

Whistling Gardens in Norfolk County features a musical fountain amphitheatre with over 100 water jets, inspired by the Palace of Versailles, plus granite walls and outer wings spanning 400 feet. Three 90-foot staircases meet behind the stage. This is where the dancing musical fountain festival will be held.

This visual experience uses interpretive storytelling to bring this stunning garden and its fountains to life. The immersive experience includes a show of water, lights, smoke machines and special effects to create something captivating. There are more than 100 fountains that dance to unique musical compositions that were specially made for the Festival of Fountains.

Debuted when the garden celebrated its 10th anniversary, the entire event took four years to plan. With this show, the Whistling Gardens was the first in Ontario to introduce this incredible international custom technology.

When you enter the garden, you will be greeted by a beautiful 120-year-old cottonwood tree. Like the rest of the garden, this tree comes to life with computerized lighting and music.

The festival will take place on select nights in August and September.

The festival is described as a ‘magical theatrical experience’, so don’t miss out on this entertaining evening.
