Janelle Monáe Plans 3 Canadian Stops on ‘The Age Of Pleasure’ North American Tour

Janelle Monáe, the renowned artist and fashion icon, is set to embark on her Age of Pleasure Tour across North America, according to an announcement made today.

The 26-city tour, produced by Live Nation, will commence on August 30 at the WAMU Theater in Seattle, WA, and conclude on October 18 at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, CA. Stops along the way include Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Kansas City, New York City, and Brooklyn, among others.

 

Coinciding with the tour, Monáe will release her highly anticipated album, The Age of Pleasure, on June 9th through Atlantic Records. The album features her latest single, “Lipstick Lover,” which is currently available through Wondaland Arts Society/Atlantic Records. Monáe and Alan Ferguson have co-directed an official emotion picture for the single.

Fans can expect an electrifying experience as Monáe promises to captivate their body, soul, and senses during her performances. The shows will feature a mix of tracks from her latest album and beloved hits from her previous discography. With eight Grammy nominations and a legacy of theatrical and television excellence, Monáe continues to establish herself as a vital and influential artist of this generation, alongside her unwavering dedication to social justice and support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
