Country music fans in St. John’s will have two major nights to mark on the calendar as the Churchill Park Music Festival adds more big names to its summer lineup.
Keith Urban is set to headline the festival on July 24, joined by Russell Dickerson and Canadian artist Dallas Smith. The annual event takes place at Churchill Park in the centre of St. John’s, a venue known for its open green space and easy access across the city.
Urban arrives in Newfoundland with a résumé that stretches across decades. The four-time GRAMMY winner has earned 13 CMA Awards, 15 ACMs and more than 11 billion streams worldwide. His latest album, HIGH, includes tracks such as “Straight Line” and “Go Home W U” with Lainey Wilson. The record followed his HIGH AND ALIVE WORLD TOUR, which wrapped in October 2025.
Russell Dickerson will bring a different energy to the stage. The multi-platinum singer has built a following through hits like “Yours” and “Blue Tacoma,” while his newest album, FAMOUS BACK HOME, leans into a mix of country, pop and rock influences. The singer has also surpassed three billion career streams.
Dallas Smith, meanwhile, continues a strong run in Canadian country music. The former Default frontman has collected 21 Gold-certified singles, nine Platinum-certified singles and more than 640 million global streams.
The festival has also confirmed that The Chicks will headline on July 18, with Elle King and Amanda Marshall appearing as a special guests.
Tickets for the Keith Urban show go on sale May 14 at noon NDT through the festival website.
