If somebody asked your kid to spell “Charadriiform”, do you think they are interested in learning it?
If so, register them for the Spelling Bee of Canada competition.
The annual Spelling Bee of Canada competition is open for Canadian children between 6 and 14 as of December 31, 2022.
All students who register will receive a study guide with the official words, the opportunity to compete in their chapter’s spelling bee in person, a certificate of Participation, and the chance to win a monetary prize and trophy to commemorate their achievements.
The competitions have three age s based categories:
- Primary: Ages 6-8 (Born 2014-2016)
- Junior: Ages 9-11 (Born 2011-2013)
- Intermediate: Ages 12-14 (Born 2008-2010)
The Chapter Spelling Bee Competitions take place from March – April 2023. The winners will compete in the Championship held in Toronto on May 28, 2023.
There are two registration packages ranging from $45 to $60. Both includes:
- Official Spelling Bee of Canada Study Guide (2023 Edition)
- Participation in Regional Spelling Bee Competition
- Certificate of Participation
- Competition Overview Webinar
The $60 package also provides access to the Spelling Bee of Canada Online Learning Platform starting January 2023.
