Horse Expo Canada returns to Red Deer’s Westerner Park from April 24 to 26, bringing the country’s largest equine event to life. Over three days, visitors can enjoy clinics, demos, exhibitor booths, and entertainmen, all tailored for horse lovers. It’s a must-visit weekend for anyone passionate about horses or curious to learn more about the equestrian world.
Horse Expo will feature world-class clinicians instructing audiences in a variety of disciplines, including liberty, working equitation, barrel racing, show jumping, reining, western pleasure, and more.
Three top trainers, Braden Bernier, Trevor Mertes, and Kyle Fische, are going head-to-head in the Trainers Showdown, one of the most anticipated events at the expo. Over three days, they’ll each work with an unstarted colt, revealing their different styles and problem-solving skills. It’s a rare chance to watch horsemanship in action and see how trust and connection grow between horse and rider.
Additionally, the event boasts over 200 equine-related exhibitors, making it the largest equine trade show in Canada.
