Moment Factory, a leader in immersive multimedia experiences, is bringing “Mirror Mirror,” an interactive art installation, to CF Chinook Centre in Calgary.
According to Moment Factory, “Mirror Mirror” offers a fusion of light, sound, and interactive elements, engaging visitors in a series of nine art installations. Each piece invites exploration of themes inspired by human imagination and is suitable for all ages. The installations are designed not only to entertain but also to provoke thought and encourage participation.
Open from February 2 to March 31, 2024, this is the third iteration of the studio’s indoor art experience, following successful runs in Montreal and Adelaide.
As per the news release, the experience is unique in that it evolves based on the involvement of the guests. Interactive features and user-generated content play a significant role in shaping the digital landscape of the exhibit. This dynamic environment allows visitors to directly influence the installations, creating a personalized and emotionally engaging journey.
Key installations include “Memory Storage,” where shared memories trigger a light show; “Forest of Echoes,” a mirror labyrinth challenging one’s self-perception; “River of Now,” where stepping on rock-like platforms produces music and colours; and “Mirrors of Tomorrow,” an interactive tarot reading experience.
The exhibition is open to the public, with ticket prices ranging from $22 to $26 for adults and $18 to $22 for children.

What: Mirror Mirror is a playground of immersive art featuring nine (9) installations that lasts 45 to 60 minutes. Upon entering the experience, you are invited to choose a door and explore freely, discovering installations to activate through your participation. In Mirror Mirror your thoughts generate poems, your words are translated into light, and the slightest movement may cause a total transformation. Inspired by the mystery of the human mind, and its endless creativity, this journey will take you to a destination like no other: your own imagination.
