The NBA has suspended all games in its 2020 season until further notice after a Utah Jazz player tested positive for COVID-19.
NBA came to know about the COVID-19 test result just before tonight’s game between the Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena. NBA confirmed that the affected player was not in the arena.
Toronto Raptors were scheduled to play this Saturday against Detroit Pistons at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
According to the release, NBA is suspending gameplay following the conclusion of tonight’s schedule of games until further notice. The NBA will use this hiatus to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the coronavirus pandemic.
