Residents of New Brunswick will now pay 25 per cent less for daily and seasonal entry passes at select provincial parks, following a new initiative by the provincial government.

The discount, introduced by the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture, applies to seven of the 13 provincial parks under its management. The remaining six parks already offer free access and are therefore not included in the price reduction.
The parks where the discount will apply include:
- New River Beach
- Murray Beach
- Parlee Beach
- Mount Carleton
- Fundy Trail
- Le Village Historique Acadien
- Hopewell Rocks
Tourism, Heritage and Culture Minister Isabelle Thériault said the move is aimed at improving accessibility while encouraging outdoor activity.
Per the news release, more than 1.1 million people visited these parks in the 2024-25 fiscal year. Existing benefits remain in place, including free entry for Canadian military members and first responders who show a valid ID. Additionally, all provincial parks offer free admission on New Brunswick Day, observed on the first Monday of August.
Educational and outreach programs also continue to be part of the parks’ offerings. These include partnerships with schools and organizations such as Nature NB and Ducks Unlimited. Residents interested in outdoor activities can also take advantage of the Learn to Camp program, which remains free.
