New Vancouver Restaurants to Eat Out This Fall – 2024

The fall season signals many things: cooler weather, and a need for warm or cozy drinks, the start of the holiday season, and all things spooky. And right on time for all things fall are a handful of new restaurants, cafes, and takeout restaurants in Vancouver.

These are places to gather for the holidays, enjoying a pretty latte or warm drink, or for a hearty and homecooked meal. Plus, there are a few dining events in Vancouver this season to help celebrate all the best parts of fall, including Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Oktoberfest.

Sushi Umi

The Sushi Umi name may sound familiar already, especially for those in North Vancouver. The local restaurant started with their original North Vancouver Sushi Umi and were excited to expand with a second location this past August. Visit them in the new Fairview location to try their famous platters of nigiri, rolls, sashimi, and more.

Perfecto Café

The much-loved and local Perfecto Café are now on Robson! Perfecto Café, known for its beautiful drinks and latte art, opened its second Vancouver location on Robson late this past summer. Now, locals can grab their photo-worthy beverages from there or the OG Davie Street location.

This new cozy Italian restaurant in Burnaby is a new place to gather, enjoy a drink, and indulge in La Forechetta’s handmade pastas. As one of Gastown’s newest Mexican-inspired restaurants and clubs, the Tequila Lounge has a lot to offer! During the week, the Lounge is open 11-11 for brunch, lunch, or dinner.
