Brampton’s New Year’s Eve celebrations are back after being cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19.

The city has announced 2022 New Year’s Eve celebrations headlined by Juno Award-winning Canadian rock band, Sam Roberts Band.
The celebrations will end with a dazzling fireworks display presented by Kalsi Law.
Official New Year’s Eve celebrations begin at 9 p.m. December 2021 with local Brampton artist Ameerah taking the stage. Oji-Cree singer-songwriter Aysanabee will follow at 9:50 p.m with Sam Roberts Band on stage at 10:40 p.m.
Mayor Patrick Brown and Members of the City Council will begin the countdown at 11:55 p.m. before speckles of colour light up the sky welcoming 2022.
The city is inviting residents to start the night early and enjoy dinner at the three official food partners, The WORKS Craft Burgers & Beer (8 Queen St E), Pizzanini (18 Main St S), RaPizza ( 6 George St S Unit 2), or at any of the restaurants featured in the Brampton Food Guide.

What: The countdown is on to 2022 and there is no better place to celebrate than in downtown Brampton! Ring in the New Year with skating in Gage Park, a live performance from headliner and Juno Award-winning Canadian rock band, Sam Roberts Band, and a dazzling fireworks display presented by Kalsi Law.
