7-Eleven Canada is marking “Reverse 7-Eleven Day” on November 7 by offering customers a free Slurpee and special discounts on chicken wings. The event mirrors the company’s annual July 11 celebration but with a “backwards” twist, turning 11/7 into a nationwide giveaway day.
On November 7, all customers can receive a free Slurpee at 7-Eleven locations across Canada, while 7Rewards members can purchase new Tandoori chicken wings and other popular wing flavours for just ¢71.
Last year’s Reverse 7-Eleven Day saw nearly 67,000 Slurpees given away across the country. Per the news release, Alberta led the nation with 27,889 free beverages claimed, often paired with potato wedges. British Columbia customers bought the most chicken wings, earning the province the title “King of Wings.” Ontario shoppers followed Alberta’s trend with potato wedges as their top choice, but the province stood out as the only one where the 100% Canadian beef Big Bite hot dog ranked second in snack sales.
The retailer is also launching a series of winter promotions running until January 6. Offers include two pizza slices for $3, $0.89 wings available through December, and any size coffee for $2. Slurpees of any size are also priced at $2.50 during this period.
New seasonal items available at participating stores include donuts made with TURTLES®, TURTLES® Hot Chocolate, and a Powerade Sour Grape Slurpee.
The annual event, which turns the brand’s iconic July celebration on its head, continues to draw Canadians into stores, even in freezing temperatures, for one of the country’s most recognizable frozen treats.
