Alberta reported 1,105 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, November 19. This is a single-day record and the second time the province crossed 1000 daily cases since the pandemic started.
Alberta reported 1,026 cases last Saturday.
There are 10,382 active cases in Alberta with 4,388 in the Edmonton zone, 4,219 in the Calgary zone, 508 in the Central zone, 540 active cases in the South zone and 658 active cases in the North zone. 69 active cases not affiliated with a specific zone.
Alberta Health also announced eight new deaths.
There are 284 Albertans in the hospital with the coronavirus, including 61 in ICU.
