Rainforest Lumina at the Singapore Zoo/Moment Factory
An immersive Lumina Night Walk that will tell the unique to Toronto will come to Toronto Zoo this winter.
Board of Management of the Toronto Zoo approved Zoo staff’s proposal of one-of-kind Lumina Night Walk experience by Montreal based company Moment Factory.
Moment Factory has created a world-class experience that brings people together by exploding the computer interface and taking people off their screens and into the outdoor world. Famous installation include Rainforest Lumina at the Singapore Zoo and Island Lumina in Iojima, Japan.
Moment Factory also creates Lumina Borealis in Kingston,Vallea Lumina in Whistler,and experiences in multiple locations in Quebec.
The Toronto Zoo’s proposal from Moment Factory relates an immersive Lumina Night Walk experience telling a story unique to the Zoo. The experience is meant to inspire guests to enact positive change and improve how we share and improve our relationship with Mother Earth, animals and the environment. Guests will be led through the experience with the use of interactive displays, light, sound, scenography, music and video projection.
Each 45 to 60 minute experience begins at nightfall and engages emotion using storytelling, lighting design, an original soundscape and music, scenography, video and interactive technologies.
Get ready for a mindblowing experience this winter in Scarborough.
