Interested in Naming City of Kitchener’s New Swan?

Otis, who calls Kitchener’s Victoria Park home, seems to have found a new companion when he was a “snow bird” at City of Stratford’s winter home for swans. The City of Kitchener is looking for names for the new partner who returned with Otis.

Otis became a widower when his long time companion died in 2012. Swans are known for mating for life, though according to Radoslaw Włodarczyk of University of Łódź, Poland, the divorce rates are about 4%. They also might look for a new partner when the mate dies.
