Ontario has announced a significant investment of $150 million over the next two years to expand the Ontario Fertility Program. This initiative aims to reduce waitlists and increase the number of families accessing government-funded fertility services in both hospital and community clinic settings.
The government’s initiative is part of “Your Health: A Plan for Connected and Convenient Care,” which seeks to enhance the healthcare system’s ability to meet patient needs effectively. By expanding access to fertility services and introducing financial support through the new tax credit, the province aims to make fertility treatments more accessible and affordable for Ontario families.
