The Ottawa Orchid Society is back in full bloom for its annual show and sale this May!
You can expect to see a vibrant showcase of exotic orchids, Ikebana arrangements, as well as educational exhibitions and vendors selling orchid plants and supplies. The Society members will also be there to provide you with tips on how to grow your own orchids.
Vendors include Ching Hua Orchids, AnLi’s Orchid Gardens, Crystal Star Orchids, Di Ciommo Orchids, Ecuagenera, Flora Peculia, Orchids in Our Tropics and many more!
There are workshops on Basic Phalaenopsis Care and Repotting Orchids.
Admission to the event is $14, with discounts available for seniors and youths. Children under 12 can attend for free. Advanced tickets at $30 are also available which offer early access to the vendors’ area from 11 am – 12 pm on Saturday before the public.
The event will take place at Algonquin College’s Woodroffe campus on Mat 2 & 3.

ORCHIDOPHILIA 2026
What: Orchidophilia features a dazzling array of orchid and Ikebana displays, educational exhibits that vary throughout the day.
Visitors can learn about orchid conservation, enjoy workshops on care and repotting, and shop a wide selection of orchids and supplies from both local and international vendors.
The show promises a unique blend of beauty, education, and the opportunity to shop for unique plants.
