The celebration is totally free and it’s packed with cool stuff to do, learn, and taste, making being eco-friendly a blast for all ages.

The food truck lineup along University Drive promises scrumptious delights, including vegan eats, vegetarian bites, and gluten-free goodies.  Highlights include B’ Burger, Chickpea, and Gary’s Kettle Corn.

The sustainable market will feature eco-friendly goods from some talented local artisans. Think upcycled fashion, organic skincare, and a bunch of other cool stuff that’s as kind to the planet as it is to you. And don’t forget to check out the plant sale — with prices between $3 – $6, it’s the perfect excuse to green up your space.

The party comes with a side of live tunes from local musicians and emerging artists like Shauna Singer and Shawn Bullshields. The performers’ roster is extensive, with acts like Wookiez, Tess Anderson, and the Surrey City Orchestra Duo slated to entertain. Imagine chilling to the sounds of sustainability, surrounded by good vibes and good company!

For younger guests, the event is packed with educational eco-crafts, games, and a range of activities including rock climbing, dance battles, and Indigenous cultural sharing.

So, mark your calendars and come down to Party for the Planet celebrations at Surrey Civic Plaza on April 27th. It’s where learning about sustainability and having a great time go hand in hand.
