For one day only on May 12, participating locations will offer medium cheese or pepperoni pizzas for $5.99, tax included. From each pizza sold, $1 will go directly to Variety, the Children’s Charity (Ontario).
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., or until supplies run out.
It marks the 27th year of the campaign, which has raised more than $2.9 million since it began. Even in newer formats, the initiative has continued to grow. In 2025, the Dip ‘n Give version brought in a record $231,045.
The funds support programs focused on inclusive sports, recreation, and life skills, helping children of all abilities gain confidence and participate more fully in their communities.
For Charlie Johnstone, President and CEO of Variety – the Children’s Charity (Ontario) & Variety Village, the return of the one-day format carries extra weight. He described it as a way to bring people together in a shared moment, noting that each pizza purchased helps open doors for children and families who rely on these programs.
Since 1999, the Primucci family and Pizza Nova have supported Variety Ontario’s mission, helping expand access to programs both at Variety Village and in communities across the province.
