Late September through October, farms across the Greater Toronto Area and Hamilton welcome visitors for pumpkin picking, corn mazes, wagon rides, tasty treats and seasonal family activities.

I. Pumpkin Patches in Durham Region
1. Linton’s Farm Market
Linton’s Farm Market sells a wide variety of homegrown vegetables and fruit, cheese, honey, maple syrup, jams, preserves and fall decorations. Visitors can also pick their own pumpkins in different shapes, sizes and colours.
Hours: September 26–27; October 3–4, 10–12, 17–18, 24–26 and 31, 2026. Regular hours 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m., last entry 4 p.m. October 26 and 31 last entry 3 p.m.

2. Willowtree Farm Market
Willowtree Farm is a family farm with more than 600 acres, a butcher shop and a bakery. Pumpkin Palooza offers wagon rides, pumpkin games, corn mazes, a spooky forest walk, pumpkin cannon shots and photo opportunities.

3. Nature’s Bounty Farm
Enjoy a self-guided nature walk around the property, visit sheep in the pasture, challenge the children to the obstacle course and explore the corn maze. Visitors can also enjoy fresh cider and pick pumpkins. The farm offers seasonal pick-your-own hot peppers, weather permitting.

4. Pingle’s Farm Market
Celebrate autumn at Pingle’s Harvest Festival, featuring pumpkin picking, corn mazes, children’s activities and other farm experiences. The Harvest Market also offers seasonal produce, pumpkins, mums and fall decorations.

II. Pumpkin Patches in York Region
1. Robintide Farms
Robintide Farms is a family farm business in Vaughan that has provided the GTA with farm-fresh food, agricultural products and horse-related services since 1967. The farm offers seasonal pick-your-own produce, including pumpkins, along with a maze.

2. Forsythe Family Farms
Forsythe Family Farms offers seasonal pick-your-own squash and pumpkins along with a farm market. Pumpkin picking is generally offered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to field conditions. Visitors are encouraged to call before travelling.

3. Applewood Farm and Winery
Applewood Farm is a family-owned Stouffville farm offering pick-your-own apples, pumpkins and strawberries. Admission includes access to the farm play yard, wagon rides, farm animals, corn maze and straw mountain. One pumpkin or squash is included with each paid admission, while supplies last.
Hours: 2026: Wednesday–Friday 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; Thanksgiving Monday, October 12, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Last admission one hour before closing.

4. Brooks Farms
Brooks Farms offers pick-your-own apples, squash and pumpkins, along with a farmers’ market, bakery and 10-acre Barnyard Playland. The farm also hosts a Fall Fun Festival with seasonal family activities.

5. Rose Family Farm
Rose Family Farm offers family activities including its Play Barn, seasonal pumpkin picking, a farm store and food from the Chip Truck. Weekend wagon rides take visitors to the pumpkin patch.
Hours: 2026 Play Barn Saturday–Sunday and Thanksgiving Monday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Pumpkin patch wagon rides on weekends during regular hours.
Cost: Play Barn $15 per child, under 2 free with paid sibling. Pumpkin wagon ride $9/person including one pumpkin; under 3 free without pumpkin. Pre-picked pumpkins $6 each or three for $15.

1. Albion Orchards
Located in Caledon, Albion Orchards offers a countryside setting for seasonal fruit and pumpkin picking. Visitors can enjoy the fall colours while shopping for fresh produce at the orchard.

2. Dixie Orchards
Dixie Orchards offers pick-your-own apples, hazelnuts and pumpkins, together with a corn maze, wagon rides, marketplace and sunflower field. There are plenty of activities for families visiting the Caledon farm during fall.
Hours: Open for the 2026 season since August 26. Pumpkins typically ready from late September.

3. Downey’s Farm Market
Downey’s Farm Market is a 215-acre family farm operating since 1920. The farm offers seasonal pick-your-own pumpkins, pre-picked produce, a farm market and family activities. Its Pumpkinfest features additional attractions, with separate admission required.

IV. Pumpkin Patches in Halton Region
Andrew’s Scenic Acres & Scotch Block Winery
Andrew’s Scenic Acres is a 165-acre farm and winery offering pick-your-own fruits and vegetables. During autumn, visitors can pick seasonal produce including squash, gourds and pumpkins.
Hours: Until November 1. Weekdays 10 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; weekends and holidays 10 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

V. Pumpkin Patches in Hamilton
1. Puddicombe Farms
Puddicombe Estate Farms, Winery and Cider is a family-owned farm in Winona offering countryside experiences and seasonal pick-your-own produce, including apples, grapes, pears and pumpkins. The farm also offers activities such as train rides and tasting tours.

2. Murphy’s Country Produce
Murphy’s Country Produce is a 50-acre family farm in Binbrook specializing in fruits and vegetables. Seasonal pick-your-own opportunities include strawberries, pumpkins and squash.

3. The Apple Orchard
The Apple Orchard features more than 10,000 apple and pear trees, wagon rides, farm animals, a corn maze, sunflower fields and a pumpkin patch. Its five-acre patch grows more than 20 varieties of pumpkins, squash and decorative gourds.
Hours: Pumpkin patch open for 2026. Monday and Thursday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.; last entry/wagon 4 p.m. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

4. Carluke Orchards
Carluke Orchards is a third-generation family farm with a bakery and gourmet food market. The farm grows 13 apple varieties and offers seasonal pick-your-own pumpkins.
