The 113th Grey Cup in Calgary is shaping up to be as much a music and aviation event as a football championship.

Country singer-songwriter Riley Green will headline the Bud Light Grey Cup Halftime Show at McMahon Stadium on Sunday, November 15, 2026, while Sarah McLachlan, Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor of Blue Rodeo, James Barker Band and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds will all be part of the day’s entertainment.
Green arrives with an unusual football connection of his own. Before his country career, he played quarterback for the Jacksonville State University Gamecocks. He has since scored six No. 1 hits at Canadian country radio, including “There Was This Girl” and “Worst Way.”
“We’ve spent a lot of time touring across Canada over the past several years, and the fans up there have always shown up for us in a big way,” Green said, adding that performing at his first Grey Cup will be “a pretty special way to wrap up” the year.
Grey Cup Game
Sarah McLachlan will sing O Canada, while Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor will give a special pre-game performance. The pair last appeared at a Calgary Grey Cup when Blue Rodeo headlined halftime in 2009.
James Barker Band will then perform during the SiriusXM Grey Cup Kickoff Show. The Ontario country group won Country Album of the Year at the JUNOs twice and picked up Group or Duo of the Year and Fans’ Choice at the 2026 Canadian Country Music Association Awards.
A final Grey Cup flight for the Snowbirds
One of the day’s more historic moments will happen overhead.
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will return to the Grey Cup during their 55th anniversary year. Their appearance comes as the Royal Canadian Air Force prepares to retire the team’s CT-114 Tutor aircraft after the 2026 season. The Snowbirds have previously appeared at the 101st, 106th and 109th Grey Cups.
Major-General Denis O’Reilly called the retirement a chance to honour the pilots, technicians, support staff and families connected with the aircraft’s long history.
The 113th Grey Cup kicks off at 6 p.m. ET, 5 p.m. MT at McMahon Stadium. Canadian viewers can watch on TSN, CTV, RDS and Crave. The wider Grey Cup Festival runs in Calgary from November 11 to 15.
Beyond Grey Cup Sunday, Calgary will host the Cenovus Energy 2026 Grey Cup Festival from November 11 to 15 at Stampede Park and other venues. The schedule includes free street-festival programming, family activities, team parties, concerts, pancake breakfasts, drone shows, rodeos and game-day tailgates. Highlights include The Trews, Alan Doyle with The Strumbellas and a Saturday country concert for fans.
