The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will tour Canada this spring as part of the year-long celebrations marking the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her 70-year reign as Queen of Canada.

The three-day royal tour will see Prince Charles and Camilla visiting Newfoundland and Labrador, the Ottawa region, and the Northwest Territories.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in a statement said, “During their visit, they will have the wonderful opportunity of seeing first-hand the diversity and kindness of Canadians and the beauty of our abundant natural landscapes that make us proud to call our country home.”
Prince Charles and Camilla last toured Canada during the 150th anniversary of Confederation making stops in Ontario, Nunavut and the Capital Region.
