Several Extreme Cold Records Smashed in Alberta

imageEnvironment Canada says several low-temperature records were broken across Alberta as all of the province continues under extreme cold warnings with wind chill values between -40°C and -55°C.

These are daily minimum temperature records.

15 new records were set on February 8th due to “unseasonably cold arctic ridge of high pressure”:
