One of Manitoba’s longest-running Halloween attractions is preparing to scare visitors again this October.
Six Pines Haunted Attractions
Six Pines Haunted Attractions returns to its farm north of Winnipeg for Scream Fest 2026, celebrating 28 years of haunting souls with completely refreshed haunted-house experiences, immersive theatrical scares and a separate daytime option for families.
Operating since 1998, Six Pines changes its haunted houses every year, introducing new scenes, props, and storylines. The 2026 season runs from October 2 to 31, with Fear by Night on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, plus a special Wednesday opening on October 28. Families and visitors looking for something considerably less intense can instead attend the Family Ghoul Flashlight Haunt on five afternoons later in the month.
Fear by Night: Three New Nightmares for 2026
Six Pines’ signature nighttime experience is designed for serious haunt fans. Unlike a simple maze or walk-through filled with occasional jump scares, the attraction describes its haunts as theatrical experiences where performers interact with guests and draw them into the story. Actors can approach and engage visitors, although guests are not manhandled and visitors may not touch performers or props.

Three themed experiences anchor Extreme Fear by Night in 2026.
Lilyfield Asylum: For 2026, the Barn of Doom is transformed into Lilyfield Asylum, one of three attractions included in Six Pines’ Extreme Fear by Night lineup. The experience is set inside the property’s longstanding haunted barn and introduces a new asylum-themed storyline for the season.
The Barn of Doom has been central to Six Pines since the attraction’s early years, and the farm has developed its own elaborate supernatural mythology around the century-old structure.
carnEvil: The circus is back, but this version is definitely not aimed at children. carnEvil leads visitors into a twisted circus setting filled with sinister clowns and an atmosphere where laughter quickly gives way to screaming.
KORALINE: The third 2026 nightmare is KORALINE, built around the warning that some doors are better left unopened. Visitors enter a strange world where appearances cannot necessarily be trusted. Getting inside may be considerably easier than finding the way back out!
Family Ghoul Flashlight Haunt
The Family Ghoul Flashlight Haunt offers a milder way to experience Six Pines. Guests bring their own flashlight and explore the haunted attractions at their own pace.
The Family Ghoul Flashlight Haunt takes place on October 17, 18, 24, 25, and 31 from 2 PM to 5 PM.
The Family Ghoul Flashlight Haunt keeps the fog, music, scents, lighting effects, and creepy props of the nighttime attractions, but without actors jumping out at guests. Most attractions are indoors or under cover, and a heated gift shop and seating area are available for breaks.

Fear by Night takes place on select Thursdays to Saturdays from October 2 to 31, 2026 and on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Six Pines Haunted Attractions is located 4 km north of Perimeter Highway 101 on Sturgeon Road in Winnipeg. The venue includes concession areas, covered spaces, and heated seating for guests.Free parking is available on site, with attendants directing vehicles.

Nighttime admission varies depending on the date.
Fear Pass: $47.25 to $55.25, including GST
VIP Fear Fast Pass: $68.25 to $78.75, including GST
Group Fear Pass for 20 or more: $42 to $50 per person, including GST
Nightmare Alley Guest Pass: $15, including GST
Family Ghoul Flashlight Haunt: $25 per person age five and older
Family Pass for four: $90
Children under five: Free during the daytime haunt

Double Terror Returns: Visitors who think one trip through the haunted houses is not enough can watch for Double Terror days. This year, they are offered on October 2 – 3, 8 – 9, 15, 28 and 29. Guests who complete all of the haunted houses once can make a second trip through them before 9:30 PM. Six Pines recommends arriving early if you want enough time to attempt both rounds.
Nightmare Alley for Those Who Do Not Want the Haunts: Not everyone in a group has to brave the haunted houses. A Nightmare Alley Guest Pass allows visitors to stay on the property while friends or family tackle the main attractions. The $15 pass includes access to the Six Pines atmosphere, photo opportunities, Nightmare Alley and Grizelda’s Chip Wagon, but does not include entry to the haunted houses.
Know Before You Go
- Fear by Night is recommended for ages 13+. Guests 14 and younger must be accompanied through the haunts by an adult. For ages 15 and 16, a parent or guardian must remain on site.
- The attractions include darkness, fog, strobe lights, uneven terrain and confined spaces and are not recommended for pregnant guests or those with certain medical conditions. Accessibility can be limited at night, although accessible parking and a wheelchair-accessible portable toilet are available.
- Six Pines operates rain or shine on a working farm, so dress for the weather. Costumes are allowed, but masks and props are not. Backpacks must be left in the car or stored in a $2 locker, and there is no re-entry after leaving the park.
- Timed tickets indicate when to join the entrance queue, not when you will enter a haunted house. Arrive within your scheduled window, as late arrivals are not guaranteed entry and refunds are not provided.
With three newly themed nighttime haunts, the return of Double Terror and flashlight-powered family fun, Six Pines Haunted Attractions is offering two very different ways to celebrate Halloween in Winnipeg in 2026, depending on whether your ideal October outing involves inspecting the scenery or screaming your way through it.
