The famous ski hill in Durham is opening for the season om December 20th.
Those who are young and young at heart can discover the joy of spinning and sliding down the steep snow-laden hill rising above Oak Ridge Moraine.
What is snow tubing, you ask? Snow tubing is an upgraded version of tobogganing where you slide down a designated path down the hill on an inflated round tube.
You can ride solo, tie your group’s tubes, or race your friends.

Unlike many other Ontario resorts with snow tubing where you have to carry tubes up the hill, Lakeridge has a “lift” which pulls you up to the starting location.
You must be at least 42 inches or 107 cm in height.
