Spruce Grove is inviting residents to enjoy Canada Day by getting out and exploring our community.

Jubilee Park will be brimming with a range of activities this year, including many of our popular favourites, as well as some new additions to the mix!

Activities include:

  • Pancake breakfast – Protective Services Building
    Breakfast will be available for the first 1,500 people, rain or shine, for $5/person or $20/family.
  • Opening ceremony
  • Canadian Forces SkyHawks
    Building formations in the sky by bringing their parachutes in close proximity to each other, the team puts on a spectacular show. Performing these aerobatic parachute formations requires a high level of skill and courage, and is known as Canopy Relative Work (CRW). The team is based out of Trenton, Ontario at the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre and is comprised of military members from both the Regular and Reserve Forces from a variety of occupations.

    Enjoy live performances by local musicians and children’s entertainment that is sure to mesmerize young and old alike! Set up your blanket near the stage for a fun-filled afternoon of live music and the Blast From the Past Dino Show!
  • Mainstage Entertainment
    Get ready for some fantastic entertainment on the Mainstage, including the hilarious Dueling Pianos, country-folk singer songwriter Don Amero, and our Canada Day headliner 54-40!
  • Fireworks

Free, pancake breakfast provided by the Knights of Columbus for a fee; $5/person or $20/family.

Bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for the Parkland Food Bank.

  • Pancake Breakfast | 9 a.m.–noon @ Protective Services Building, located at 36 Fifth Avenue.
  • Activities | 1 to 8 pm
  • Canadian Forces SkyHawks — 1 p.m. (weather permitting)
  • Afternoon on the Stage — 1-4 p.m.
  • Mainstage Entertainment — 7-11 p.m.
  • Fireworks | 11 p.m.

Venue:

Jubilee Park, Spruce Grove, Alberta

A free park and ride bus service will be available from 11:30 a.m. to midnight. Buses will run every 20 to 30 minutes. The drop-off location is on Greenbury Boulevard (just east of Jubilee Park) and the departure location from Jubilee Park is located on Grove Drive. The buses can accommodate strollers, however no animals are permitted (with the exception of service animals).
