1. Mercer Tavern

2. Central Social Hall

St. Patrick’s Day isn’t just about drinking green beer- it is about drinking and getting social! Central Social Hall, another centrally located location, invite you to take part in their St. Patty’s Day “the Irish way.” This means specials on Stout beer, their own “Pickleback” shots, ½ priced wings, and a feature Irish Burger.

3. CRAFT Beer Market

5. The Cabin Pub + Party

The Cabin’s March 17th celebrations are two-fold: they are, of course, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, but also a grand rerereopening for post-pandemic restrictions. So, while The Cabin isn’t hosting the party it would like, they still want you to come in for a $4 shot of Jameson! The Pub is on the east side of Jasper Ave., making it a short walk from the downtown neighbourhoods.

6. The Provincial

The Provincial Kitchen & Bar will be giving away tons of St.Paddy’s swag, ski passes to Marmot Basin and 2 Edmonton Oilers Jerseys to those who are celebrating St. Patrick’s day with them. You can also watch the Battle of Alberta as the Oilers take on the Flames.

1. Clay & Cupcakes – Gnome and Beer Stein decorating

You and your family can stretch your creative muscles and get out of the house this St. Patrick’s Day. Clay & Cupcakes in south west Edmonton offers multiple time slots for stein and gnome decorating in house, and space out your bookings to allow for social distancing. You can also take home a decorating kit and take part in the fun in your own home.

2. St. Patrick’s Day Leprechaun Hunt

This perfect family St. Patty’s activity is put on by the Horse Hill community league in North East Edmonton but is open to members outside of Horse Hill too. Beginning at the Plaza 167 parking lot, you and your family will set off with your cauldron and free masks to hunt for the little trickster. When you find the leprechaun, you can take photos, and exchange your cauldron for some treats.

4. St. Patrick’s Day Cooking Class & Cocktails at Sorrentino’s

Sorrentino’s is offering a hands-on and interactive St. Patrick’s experience with an evening of cooking classes, cocktail classes, and expert advice from mixologist Erick (Chico) Rosende. The menu is Irish-inspired, from the drinks to the food, and you’ll learn how to cook Irish favourites like Potato Bites, Lamb Skewer, and Bacon Beer Cheese dip.

2. Ohana Donuterie

You can pick up Ohana’s delectable March mini donut box all month long! The Mini Boxes are available in packs of 9 or 16, and include Vanilla Shamrock, Chocolate Chex, Dill Pickle (complete with a deep-fried pickle on top), and Mint Raspberry flavoured donuts. Orders are accepted online only, and Ohana requires at least 2-hours’ notice.
