The story is told from the perspective of Duke the Dog. He wakes up on an ordinary day and sets off to explore his neighbourhood only to find his favourite places are either closed or offering curb-side and take out only. Even the library and church are closed. Duke encounters all the things that humans are experiencing, including hoarders fighting over toilet paper, and doctors who are giving great advice about how to deal with the crisis.
