The New Midway Foods section features a range of gourmet treats, comfort foods, and novel creations. Highlights include the Peanut Butter Pickle Dog – a crispy corn dog topped with peanut butter and jam over a juicy pickle, the Mini Donut Lemonade – a refreshing blend of “mini donut milk,” old-fashioned lemonade, honey boba pearls, topped with a mini-donut, the Spicy Pickle Lemonade – a twist on the classic with a jalapeno infusion, and lastly, the daring Ketchup Ice Cream – a tangy dessert in a ketchup dunked waffle cone sprinkled with matching sprinkles and garnished with a French fry.
Festival-goers can vote for their favourite new food by scanning a QR code at the fair. The winning dish will be crowned as the People’s Choice Award recipient after K-Days concludes.
