On Friday July 19, the streets of downtown Edmonton will be teeming with parade entries, including beautiful floats, giant balloons, performers, animals, antique cars, free giveaways and more. Northlands is excited to announce its Parade Marshals, Canadian Olympic Figure Skater Kaetlyn Osmond of Sherwood Park will be leading the parade, while, in celebration of their 50th anniversary, Alberta Special Olympians will be marshaling each entry of the parade.
FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Edmonton Open
As part of the Olympic qualification process for the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020, the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Edmonton Open will take place from July 17 – 21 in Edmonton. Hosting nearly 100 teams from around the world!

Kids Town: This is the place where kids aged two to 12 years old can explore a small-scale town built just for them and learn about different aspects of society. They can play in the life size LEGO land, learn about different musical instruments at the Music Hall or join a scavenger hunt at the Library. There will be performances in Kids Town every day for the little ones to enjoy.
Edmonton Maker Faire: Maker Faire showcases the amazing work of all kinds and ages of Makers—anyone who is embracing the do-it-yourself (or do-it-together) spirit and wants to share their accomplishments with an appreciative audience.

During the day, be entertained by daily hypnotist and magic shows! On the first Friday night of K-Days, the Tim Hortons North Stage goes quiet for the Silent Disco Headphone Party, back for a second year. North Stage as guests will have a different feature performance on this stage all 10 nights of K-Days.
