Ottawa PoutineFest & Mac My Cheese returns this weekend, promising an expansive celebration of poutine.

This event promises a gastronomic feast featuring over 125 varieties of poutine, showcasing categories like Traditional, Exotic, and Extreme.
Vendors include Ozzy’s Shawarma and Poutine, Smoke’s Poutinerie, Jeff’s Catering, Great Canadians Poutinier, Northern Bites, Jeff’s Catering, Roost, Smokin’ RR’s and many more!
In addition you can also get delicious treats from Mini Donuts Express, Terry’s Ole Fashion Lemonade, Heavenly Icecream, and Mr. Churros, among others.
For those with dietary preferences, Smoke’s Poutinerie and Texas Tornado offer gluten-free options, while Almighty Cheese, Roost, and Woohoo Poutine offer vegan options.
The festival will include a spirited competition for the “Best in Cheese Curd” and an “Exotic Poutine” contest. Attendees can enjoy continuous live music and entertainment throughout the weekend, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
A Bevvy Bar and Craft Beer Garden will be open throughout the festival.
The free festival runs from April 26-28, 2024, at Festival Plaza, Ottawa City Hall. Poutine prices range from $6.50 to $15.00.
