Pizza Nova, a pizza brand in Southern Ontario, has launched its 24th annual fundraising campaign to support Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ontario.
Throughout May, Pizza Nova is encouraging its customers to add a dip to their order, with 50 cents from each order being donated to Variety Ontario.
Pizza Nova launched the “That’s Amore Pizza for Kids” campaign 24 years ago, and the initiative has so far raised over $2 million for the charity. In 2021, Pizza Nova changed the format of its fundraising campaign to include a monthly dip promotion, which has been hugely successful, with $200,000 raised last year and $203,000 in 2022.
For over 70 years, Variety’s programs have helped thousands of children with physical and mental disabilities by providing an accessible facility at Variety Village, specialized programs, dedicated staff, and an inclusive community. Variety Village supports its promise to improve the quality of life and integration into society of all children, regardless of ability. Karen Stintz, President, and CEO of Variety said that Pizza Nova is one of their largest and most committed corporate donors.
