Vancouver is set to host the first-ever Fest With No Name, a unique celebration blending live country music with an immersive Western cultural experience.
Per the news release, this event promises to be more than just a musical gathering. It integrates various aspects of Western heritage and draws inspiration from the Man with No Name and the Fistful of Dollars Western movie trilogy.
The festival is scheduled for July 20th and 21st at the PNE Centre Grounds.
Music enthusiasts can look forward to performances by artists like Midland and Shane Smith & The Saints, who will make their Western Canadian debut.
The lineup also includes first-time Vancouver shows from Pony Bradshaw, Summer Dean, and Jaime Wyatt, with Nikki Lane making a much-anticipated return.
Additional acts like Dean Johnson, Dylan Earl, Mariel Buckley, and Shane Ghostkeeper will grace the stage, alongside, The Littlest Honky Tonk, described as the world’s only travelling country music museum and Western shop.
Attendees can expect a variety of activities ranging from opening ceremonies performed by the Squamish Ocean Canoe Family, to drag shows, mechanical bull rides, and a vendor market featuring vintage Western apparel in collaboration with Forastera Vintage.
The festival will feature BBQ and food vendors, a VIP Saloon, and a tintype photo booth, ensuring a rich and varied experience.
The organizers also plan to incorporate old west building facades from local movie sets, further enhancing the thematic authenticity of the event.
The tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 10th at 9 a.m. P.S.T.
