The Glorious Sons and Triumph to Perform Ahead of Stanley Cup Final Game 2 in Edmonton

The Glorious Sons will headline a free outdoor concert in Edmonton’s ICE District as part of the Rogers Festival at the Final, taking place before Game 2 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Florida Panthers.

The event, announced by Rogers, OEG Sports & Entertainment, and the NHL, will also feature a rare live performance by Canadian rock band Triumph.

Triumph will open the show at 3:40 p.m. MT on Friday, June 6, with a three-song set including “Lay It On The Line,” marking their first public performance since 2008. The Glorious Sons will follow with a full headlining set leading up to the 6:00 p.m. MT puck drop.

The concert will be held at the Play Alberta Fan Park outside Rogers Place and is open to the public with no ticket required. Entry will be available via QR code scan from LOILTY Rewards members.  LOILTY Rewards is a free program that gives Oilers fans the opportunity to earn points for attending games, shopping and more.

Rogers customers will have access to a reserved concert viewing area through the Rogers Beyond the Seat program. Portions of both performances will be broadcast as part of the Stanley Cup Final coverage, airing at 5:30 p.m. MT / 7:30 p.m. ET on Sportsnet, CBC, TVA Sports, and in the U.S. on TNT, truTV, and Max.
