The Great Outdoors Comedy Fest Returns to Edmonton, Announces New Festival in Calgary For 2022

The people behind Edmonton’s Together Again Concert Series have announced that the popular comedy festival that debuted in Edmonton last year will be expanding to Calgary this year.

Taking place in June at Prince’s Island Park, Calgary Festival will see David Spade, Whitney Cummings, Donnell Rawlings headline on Friday, June 24 and Bill Burr on Sunday, June 26 in addition to local comedians, improv groups and DJs.

Edmonton Festival will return to Edmonton Exhibition Lands Racetrack Infield on August 13 and August 14. Headliners include Amy Schumer and Stiff Socks Podcast LIVE ft. Pete Davidson.

Produced by Trixstar LIVE, the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival will partner with Boyle Street Community Service’s Hire Good to provide job opportunities to residents in need for the Edmonton event and Kinkonauts Scholarship Program by The Kinkonauts to allow unrepresented individuals and communities to attend improv classes and pursue their acting dreams.

Single-day VIP reserved or general admission tickets range from $79-$199 plus taxes and fees per person with 3 day general admission tickets available for $195 plus taxes and fees per person. Tickets will be on sale on Friday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. and pre-sale on Thursday, March 17th.
