The glorious Crescent Beach has been a favourite among locals since 1909. With expansive views and plenty of space, it’s a great spot to spend the day. A day here will surely be a fun day with swimming, beach volleyball and scenic views from the pier and nature walks.

Enjoy a walk at the Serpentine Loop Trail

Loop trails are among the best walks, as the scenery constantly changes. The Serpentine Loop trail is a 2.6 km forest loop that is suitable for all fitness levels. It’s also a great spot for dogs to enjoy, so get ready to see some cute pups!

This 2-hour walk offers peek-a-boo views of the ocean and mountains as you weave through the forested trails. It’s a comfortable habitat for plenty of wildlife, making it a good spot for wildlife watching! Make a day out of it by visiting one of the local cafes for a tasty lunch.

Get your exercise in with a visit to Surrey’s 1001 Steps. Perhaps you can even count how many steps you take, as legend has it – it’s not actually 1001 Steps! Descend the wooden, spiralled steps that lead to the waterfront views and trails to explore. Be sure to save some energy though, as you’ll have to ascend them later!

A great place to explore nature right in the city. Kids and adults alike will love the opportunity to enjoy the activities available here. Your child can borrow an adventure backpack or a fishing rod to make their experience memorable.

Ride a Train with Kids

Enjoy the 10-minute ride through forests, gardens and tunnels with kids. They will absolutely love Eddy, the diesel engine and train that was brought over from England in 1996. Complete your activities here with a fun round of mini-golf on the 18-hole course that winds its way through the beautiful scenery.
