This initiative is set to run from November 18 to 24 and marks the second year of the seasonal charity drive.
During this week-long event, special white chocolate sugar cookies adorned with red and green sprinkles and a white icing smile will be available at the restaurants.
Holiday Smile Cookies are $1.50 (plus tax), and 100% of the sales go directly to over 400 local community organizations and the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, which focus on providing transformative experiences for underserved youth.
Tim Hortons says purchasing Holiday Smile Cookies won’t earn Tims Rewards points, as 100% of the proceeds will be donated to charitable causes.
According to the news release, last year’s campaign raised $9.8 million and mirrored the long-standing impact of the Smile Cookie program, that has collected over $129 million since its inception in 1996.
To order a large quantity of Holiday Smile Cookies, you can download the pre-order form and submit it to a nearby restaurant at least 24 hours in advance.
