Toronto mentalist Jaymes will return this fall with The Beverley Street Séance: Resurrection, marking the 10th anniversary of his long-running Victorian séance experience.
This is one of the scariest Halloween events in Toronto. Every year, this one-of-a-kind experience sells out, so don’t miss your chance to check it out this year. The production, running September 26 to November 30, 2025, will take place at the George Brown House, a heritage site known for its reported paranormal activity.
Jaymes describes the event as a “soul-shaking psychological experience” designed to evoke the atmosphere of 19th-century séances. The 2025 series, titled Resurrection, builds on nearly a decade of performances that began in 2015 and consistently drew sold-out crowds.
Jaymes has staged his séance for more than 23,000 participants, with every season selling out. The 2025 production commemorates the milestone with a series of small-group events designed to recreate a traditional Victorian séance.
The George Brown House, located in downtown Toronto, has been featured on several paranormal television programs. The building is rarely open to the public, and organizers emphasize that the event is restricted to ages 18 and older due to its intense psychological nature.
Participants will first gather at Sin & Redemption, a former funeral home on 136 McCaul Street, before being escorted to the séance location a short walk away. The full program lasts about two hours, and attendees are advised to wear comfortable footwear.
This soul-shaking psychological experience is not intended for the weak or faint of heart and because of the frightening nature of this experience, it’s recommended for ages 18 and up.
The event, limited to approximately 24 guests per session to maintain an intimate setting, will include a variety of dynamic activities ranging from sitting to stair-climbing, aiming to engage participants fully.
