Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood is getting a new fitness and wellness destination next month, complete with group workout studios, saunas, cold plunges and a lounge where members can work or relax.

Sweat and Tonic will open its third Toronto location at 11 Yorkville Avenue on November 21, 2026, occupying 18,000 square feet.
The centre will offer approximately 300 fitness classes each week, covering indoor cycling, hot yoga, Pilates, Lagree and strength training.
Toronto’s First High-Capacity Group Strength Studio
One of the major additions is a group strength training studio designed to accommodate 48 participants across 12 workout pods.
Each pod will feature Rogue weight racks and Keiser cable equipment, while digital instruction screens and an instructor podium will support the classes.
Founder David Ingram said growing interest in strength training influenced the new studio’s design, particularly among women, who account for 75% of Sweat and Tonic’s community.
“We saw an opportunity to rethink what that could look like, and to evolve how we support our guests at every stage of their fitness and wellness journey,” said Ingram.
Saunas, Cold Plunges and a Members’ Lounge
Beyond workouts, the Yorkville centre will have dedicated recovery facilities in both men’s and women’s changing rooms.
These include infrared and electric high-heat saunas and cold plunge tubs, available to guests at no additional charge.
Members will also have access to Tonic House, a lounge and co-working space featuring a fireplace, soundproof phone booths, a cocktail bar and food delivery from the company’s Tonic Bar café.
The space overlooks several Yorkville landmarks, including the historic fire hall, Toronto Public Library and Four Seasons Hotel.
