Toronto Police is requesting help identifying two people who sold a house in the city while the homeowners were out of the country.
As per the news release, a man and a woman hired a real estate agent impersonating the homeowners of a Toronto property.
The property was subsequently sold, and new homeowners took possession.
It was several months after the sale that the real homeowners discovered that their property was sold without their consent.
The incident happened in January 2022.
