On Saturday, February 14, Swedish Restaurants at IKEA stores across the country will serve a traditional breakfast for $1 to IKEA Family members from opening until 11 a.m. All funds raised will be donated to Breakfast Club of Canada.

Traditional Breakfast usually costs $3.99.

The breakfast initiative has drawn strong customer turnout in the past. Its return combines a low-cost meal with a fundraising effort aimed at helping children access nutritious food before school.

Paul Lethbridge, director of corporate and community giving at Breakfast Club of Canada, said each breakfast served contributes to helping children begin their day ready to learn and grow. He thanked IKEA for its continued support.

The promotion coincides with several other limited-time February offers for IKEA Family members. From Feb. 9 to 22, shoppers can receive 20 per cent off cooking and eating items, dining furniture and outdoor dining products. Additional discounts include 15 per cent off cushion covers (Feb. 12–16), sofas and sofa beds (Feb. 5–18), and LOCKEBO custom countertops (Feb. 9–22).

IKEA Canada has also introduced a refreshed Swedish Restaurant menu featuring globally inspired options. The company says a family of four can dine for around $30.

All promotions, including the $1 breakfast, are exclusive to IKEA Family members. Membership is free.
