You can now visit Ontario parks for free by borrowing day-use permits to Ontario Parks from participating Ontario libraries.
Depending on the library, library members can borrow a day-use vehicle permit, which will include free entry or discount coupons for a future regular day-use vehicle permit to Ontario Parks.
The number of free passes and rules and regulations for borrowing free Ontario parks permit varies at each participating library.
These passes grant free access to more than 100 provincial parks.
The cost of Ontario parks’ day vehicle permit varies from $9.75 to $21 and the cost of seasonal day-use vehicle permit for 2021 varies from $67.80 to $84.75. The annual vehicle permit costs $111.87.
